Background
Gran Turismo 2 is the second installment in the Gran Turismo series. After the much anticipated first Gran Turismo it recieved a wide audience and was on the most popular games. Again, Sony went for realistic and authentic features over animation. Following on from Gran Turismo 1 it sold over 10 million copies worldwide and was a Sony Greatest Hits game.
As with Gran Turismo 1 it was incorporated with 2 gaming modes, Arcade and Simulation with the user racing against the Computer in a series of races in which the winner recieves money and prizes. The aim of the game is to complete it and unlock all the cars and tracks available.
