Ford, founded in 1903, is the world's third largest car manufacturer behind General Motors and Toyota, respectively. Ford also owns Lincoln and Mercury, as well as a third of Mazda and a some of Aston Martin. Ford is famous for having come up with the idea of an assembly line for products (notably, the Model T). Ford is also notably green, having many cars with over 30 EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency) rated MPG (Miles Per Gallon)
