Autobianchi was created (not founded, it was actually founded in 1885 as Bianchi. The company mainly produced bicycles however.) in 1955 by Bianchi, Fiat, and Pirelli as a joint project, mainly to produce family-friendly cars. Although there weren't many models made during its lifetime, Autobianchi cars were usually small. In 1992 the last operating plant that produced Autobianchi cars was closed, thus ending this company's production.
