Founded in 1910, Audi has been on the forefront of not only production cars but recently motorsports too. Audi flatly refuses to accept the ever so common RWD style of cars and has always used front engime mounted FWD or 4WD vehicles to hit the production line. Audi is also owned by Volkswagen, and most technologies are tested on Audis before being used in Volkswagen models. Audi was also the first company to ever use a TDI (Twinturbocharged Diesel Instrument, Instrument referring to the engine itself) as well as LED headlights, which set the trend with the Audi R8.
